The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) is offering a Titling & Licensing Specialist I position in Batesburg, SC. The role involves examining and processing documents for licenses, registrations, and titles, while coordinating with banks, dealerships and other stakeholders to ensure accurate customer data and compliance with state laws.

Responsibilities include administering knowledge tests for various license classes, handling payments, and providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with clerical experience.
• Must complete CDL knowledge test examiner trainer course and examination.
• Must pass nationwide criminal background check including fingerprints.

Responsabilités

• Examine, accept, prepare, enter and print documents for licenses and registrations.
• Manage business customer licensing and insurance issues.
• Process motor vehicle registration requests and issue licenses.
• Verify DMV policy and SC legislation compliance for license restrictions.
• Administer knowledge tests for Class A–G and CDL licenses.
• Answer customer inquiries and direct customers to appropriate areas.
• Operate camera system and DMV software to issue credentials.
