West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles seeks a Transportation DMV Specialist 1 to support the Clearing House Section under general supervision. The role performs full clerical work, assists customers, answers inquiries, and applies motor vehicle laws and procedures.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related public-contact experience; all applicants must consent to fingerprinting and a criminal background investigation.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in bookkeeping, sales, cashiering or related public contact work.
• Substitution: College credit from an accredited college or university, business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
