  • Verify ownership documentation for all vehicles received and sold through auctions, including VIN validation, title status, and lienholder confirmation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized physical and electronic records of all vehicle documentation for audit, compliance, and retention purposes.
  • Track pending title work and follow up with customers, lienholders, and internal departments to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Respond to DMV-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal staff in a timely, professional, and solution-focused manner.
  • Coordinate with the Vehicle & Equipment Manager to ensure all vehicles meet documentation and legal requirements before auction, transfer, or release.
  • Communicate with the State of Alaska DMV regarding escalations, exceptions, or complex title issues.
  • Notarize vehicle-related legal documents, including Powers of Attorney, affidavits, and lien releases, in accordance with Alaska law.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of DMV regulations impacting titling, registration, vehicle transfers, and auction sales.
  • Manage inventory and secure storage of DMV-issued materials (temporary tags, decals, plates), including usage tracking, discrepancy reporting, and timely reordering.
  • Build, proof, and verify vehicle listings within auction platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and support walk-in DMV clients as operationally required.
  • Follow up on AKPM sales leads and assist with coordination and administrative support of sales efforts.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned in support of APAA operations.
