Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL seeks an Associate Obsolescence Engineer or Obsolescence Engineer to join its DMSMS team within the Product Support organization. This role focuses on identifying obsolescence risks and coordinating solutions with procurement, engineering, and program management to minimize contract impacts.

Candidates must meet the basic qualifications by August 2027, hold a STEM degree, and be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or higher by Aug 2027 is required.
• Master’s degree by Aug 2027 is required for Engineer; Bachelor's with 2 years engineering experience may suffice.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance are required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full spectrum of DMSMS management tasks to identify obsolescence risk areas.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams to execute DMSMS Statements of Work.
• Develop obsolescence bills of materials and forecast impacts through end-of-life data analysis.
• Track obsolescence issues using DMSMS case management tools from identification to resolution.
• Support Life of Need Buy quantity calculations and technology roadmaps.
