Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Diminishing Material Supply (DMS) Central Engineering Team (CET). In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.



Activities Day To Day Will Vary And May Include


  • Performing mechanical engineering duties such as drawing reviews, tolerance analyses, and other mechanical analysis under the supervision of Mechanical leads and SMEs to evaluate part obsolescence impact and potential replacements.
  • Working with hardware suppliers.
  • Generate Change Orders (Cos) to resolve production design issues.
  • Partner with cross functional team to mitigate DMS impacts to programs
  • Delegating tasking to less experienced engineers and technicians
  • Technical management of engineering activity related to replacement component assessment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills


  • Mechanical Engineering degree and 2+ years’ experience
  • Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve mechanical engineering problems
  • Experience in design and part selection
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment
  • Motivated self-starter with leadership potential and ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner - Own the Design
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Active or previously held Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module and circuit design and development
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing Engineering Basis of Estimate for proposed engineering work
  • Experience in packaging of electronics


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
