Job summary

Attractivate Consulting Solutions seeks a Distribution Management System (DMS) Engineer to implement, configure, and support our DMS platform across DSSE, FLISR, VVO, and switching order management. You will integrate DMS with SCADA/OMS/GIS/AMI/EMS and develop accurate models of the distribution network.

You will collaborate with IT, OT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, reliable operations, and you will document configurations while training operations staff on tools and features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with DMS or ADMS in a utility environment.
• Hands-on experience with major DMS/ADMS platforms (GE Smallworld/ADMS, Oracle Utilities ADMS, ABB Ability Network Manager, Schneider Electric ArcFM/ADMS, Siemens ADMS).
• Strong understanding of electric distribution operations, topology, and protection concepts.
• Experience with system integrations, data modeling, and communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61968/61970 CIM, IEC 61850).
• Familiarity with GIS data and distribution network modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support the DMS platform, including DSSE, FLISR, VVO, and switching order management.
• Integrate the DMS with SCADA, OMS, GIS, AMI, and EMS.
• Develop and maintain network models and equipment parameters within the DMS.
• Support real-time operations by troubleshooting DMS alarms and data quality issues.
• Lead or participate in DMS upgrades, patches, and feature rollouts with testing.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and OT teams to meet security and compliance (NERC CIP).
• Document system configurations and procedures.
• Provide training and technical support to operations and engineering staff.
