Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality customer service.

This role offers on-call duties with transparent rotation, a stable schedule, and opportunities for hands-on mechanical work and direct patient interaction in the Phoenix Metro market.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and set-ups.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year of related work experience is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
