• Troubleshoots equipment problems over the phone and documents issues for resolution.
• Verifies customer information and explains Medicare/Medicaid and insurance payor requirements.
• Requests insurance verification as needed and explains coverage to customers.
• Handles customer complaints to resolve issues and processes orders for billing and delivery.
• Assists with ordering/restocking inventory and answers inquiries or referrals.
• Accepts orders from physicians and ensures proper documentation for billing and delivery.

The On-Call team, including a respiratorytherapist, is always available for emergencies after normal business hours.Schedule: PRNWhat You'll DoEducates customers on proper and safe usage of home medical equipment, ostomy, diabetic, wound care, respiratory equipment to include oxygen, small volume nebulizer. Can trouble shoot equipment problems over the phoneAccesses customer needs, measures customers for custom fit, explains safety issues. Responsible for verifying information is correctKeeps current on medicare, medicaid, and insurance payor requirements for equipment and supplies and is able to explain the coverage to customers. Calls insurance for verification as neededHandles customer complaints to resolve issuesAssists with ordering/restocking inventory.
