Job summary

Select Ortho in Las Vegas is seeking a DMEPOS Coordinator to support physicians and patients by handling fitting, measurements, education, and prior authorizations for DMEPOS products, while maintaining compliance with policies and coding.

You will manage payer communications, document requirements, coordinate inventory, and work with billing and care teams to ensure accurate, timely care and satisfactory patient outcomes in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent (unless licensing required)
• Experience with medical billing/insurance basics
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Ability to work with physicians, patients, and office staff
• Prior authorization and documentation experience

Responsibilities

• Provide fitting and patient education on orthotic products per physician instructions
• Educate patients on insurance plans and financial responsibilities
• Ensure all payer documentation and authorization are obtained
• Track and order inventory for one or multiple locations
• Collaborate with coordinators and billing specialists to support patient care
