Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and advanced store-system usage. The role includes battery and wiper installations, inventory tasks, and key-holder duties, with a focus on delivering strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have a 3–5 year automotive parts background, ASE certification preferred, and strong familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems. The position is full-time and based in a retail store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sales or a retail environment.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts identification.
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (open/close, safety, task assignment).
• Assist inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
