Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our DIY service team and help customers in-store and by phone. You will apply deep knowledge of automotive parts and store systems while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications include 3–5 years in automotive parts, proven sales ability, and the ability to work with inventory and diagnostic tools. ASE P2 certification or ready equivalent is preferred. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in fulfilling customer transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
