Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, battery services, and diagnostic assistance. You will use store systems, stock parts, and support inventory processes while delivering high standards of service.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in automotive parts, ASE certification is preferred, and you must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends. A valid driver's license is required for service tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and use POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services such as battery testing and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance and safety; assist in opening/closing.
• Assist in inventory processes and stock management.
