Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and diagnostic tools. The role emphasizes accurate sourcing, inventory control, and exceptional customer service in a full-time store position.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of auto parts experience, a valid driver's license, and strong selling skills. ASE certification is preferred, with health and wellness benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• ASE certification preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Key holder responsibilities including task assignment, safety, and open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
