Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services with expert store-system knowledge and parts sourcing capabilities. You will assist customers in person and by phone, perform battery tests and installations, and help maintain inventory and store standards.

A valid driver’s license is required, and ASE certification is preferred to ensure top-tier service. The role demands reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate inventory and POS systems.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Assist with store cleanliness and appearance; perform opening/closing duties as key holder.
• Aid in inventory processes such as cycle counts and back stock.
