Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro who leverages GAS2 selling techniques to assist DIY customers. The role requires deep knowledge of automotive parts, strong customer service, and proficiency with store and parts lookup systems.

The position includes responsibilities such as selecting parts, performing basic DIY services, and contributing to sales goals while maintaining store appearance and safety standards. ASE P2 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must be ASE certified or ASE ready.
• Able to read and interpret parts catalogs and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
