Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and GAS2 selling to DIY customers in our stores. You will handle advanced identification, troubleshoot parts issues, and assist sourcing from multiple channels while maintaining top service standards.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience; ASE certification is preferred. You’ll work various days, evenings, and weekends, using store inventory systems and assisting with battery tests

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and instructions.
• English speaking/writing; Spanish a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery testing and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (task assignment, safety, opening/closing).
• Assist in inventory: cycle counts, back stock, truck put away.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safe, organized environment.
• Support sourcing from multiple channels (special orders, etc.)
