Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge and part knowledge.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include providing an excellent DIY shopping experience in person and over the phone, achieving personal sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, and

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Assist with store cleanliness and stocking as needed.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when required.
