Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help reach sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store system familiarity, and a willingness to source from multiple channels including stores and suppliers.

Part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers, achieving personal sales goals, performing basic DIY services like battery and wiper

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and stocking duties as needed.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
