Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to assist DIY customers in-store and by phone, delivering battery installs, testing, and wiper services. You will help maintain inventory, fulfill orders, and support the store’s sales goals.

The role requires basic driving, friendly communication, and knowledge of parts lookup systems. The position is suitable for candidates with 2–3 years of retail sales experience and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic math skills for everyday transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking.
