Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with basic automotive knowledge and strong customer service. The role involves selling, battery and wiper services, and managing inventory while working with store systems and POS lookup tools.

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years in retail sales, good communication, and flexibility to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends. Safety and accuracy are emphasized in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
Basic knowledge of store systems and inventory processes.
English language skills; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock.
Store cleanliness and general stocking, safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
