Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson in Edinburg, TX to support the DIY customer experience and meet sales objectives. The role involves basic automotive part knowledge, using store systems, and sourcing from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

You will install batteries and wiper blades, manage inventory, and assist with deliveries as needed. The position offers flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, and requires strong communication with customers and team

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends
• Familiar with store inventory and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet overall targets
• Perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installations
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Handle inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away)
• Deliver parts safely to customers when needed
• Keep store clean and organized and stock shelves
