Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Chalmette, LA is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve our sales and service objectives. The role has good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.

The role has the basic ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The role can be part time or full time and fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for in-store visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper replacements.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including stocking and cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
