Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Louisiana is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and help the store meet its sales objectives.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. You will handle battery installations and minor DIY services, maintain inventory standards, participate in cycle counts, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with customers and peers.
• Read and interpret parts catalogs and safety procedures.
• Ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
