Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. You should have knowledge of store systems, automotive basics, and parts, with ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

The role can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities including customer engagement, in-store service, and inventory control. Fleet safety certification is preferred and weekly scheduling may vary.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and catalogs.
• Perform basic math accurately for transactions and stock counts.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes.
