Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson in Baton Rouge, LA to support the DIY business and drive sales. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts across stores and hubs.

Both part-time and full-time availability are offered. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
