Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet our sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. You will provide excellent selling experiences for DIY customers, achieve personal sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions for parts and store operations.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and stock counts.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Safely operate the POS and parts lookup systems.
