Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems proficiency, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position can be part-time or full-time and may require delivering parts as needed. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, assist customers in-store and by phone, and maintain inventory and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Basic knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
