Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives in a retail setting. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems proficiency, and effective customer engagement. It may be part-time or full-time depending on needs.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, source parts from stores and suppliers, and help maintain inventory and store standards while delivering parts safely when needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules and parts manuals.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
