Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. You will assist with DIY services and help maintain inventory and store standards.

The position may be part-time or full-time and offers opportunities to build customer relationships while developing knowledge of parts and automotive systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-3 years in a diverse retail environment preferred.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers; basic automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve overall targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, and related tasks.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; assist with inventory and stock control.
