Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive parts knowledge and familiarity with store systems, with the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Position can be part time or full time; candidates should be capable of handling inventory, delivering parts, and providing excellent customer service while working flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Basic math skills and unit conversions.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in diverse retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Keep store clean and general stocking; help with stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
