Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY customers and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. The position can be part-time or full-time.

Fleet safety certification is preferred. You’ll be involved in providing battery installations, servicing wipers, and helping customers with parts lookup and inventory

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
