Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and customer service excellence. This role can be part time or full time and may involve battery testing, installations, and inventory tasks.

You will help customers in-store and over the phone, work with delivery boards, and maintain standards while ensuring safety and accuracy in parts lookup and POS operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product standards and operating procedures.
• Handle inventory tasks such as truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and keep areas clean.
