Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in person and over the phone, and achieve store sales goals.

This entry-level role can be part time or full time and requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems. You will help with battery installations, wiper installs, and testing, and perform inventory tasks while maintaining the store appearance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to use inventory systems, POS and parts lookup.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
