Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to assist DIY customers, perform basic automotive services, and support the store’s sales objectives.

You will use store systems, source parts from various channels, and help maintain inventory and cleanliness while delivering friendly, efficient service. Weekend availability and reliable communication are essential. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Able to work varying shifts including weekends.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
