Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from various suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time and involves customer service, sales, and inventory responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in retail sales, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work various shifts, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
