Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory processes.

Part-time or full-time schedules are possible, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintaining stock and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Must understand inventory and store maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
