Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales goals. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform basic automotive knowledge, and operate store systems including POS and inventory tools.

The role requires effective communication, reliability, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends. Prior sales in retail is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Perform inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, and truck put away.
