Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems experience, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time; strong customer service and communication skills are essential to help customers and achieve sales goals while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers visiting or calling
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
