Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities including customer service, DIY service tasks, inventory maintenance, and safe parts delivery.

Qualifications

• Able to provide excellent DIY customer service and maintain store standards.
• Strong English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math and ability to interpret safety and operating documents.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with store systems and parts lookup is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Assist with DIY services (battery installs, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain inventory, stock parts, and keep the store clean and orderly.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
