Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with safety and inventory responsibilities, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in auto parts, tools, and customer service within a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
