Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service goals. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time hours are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes customer service, inventory accuracy, and safe, efficient part delivery, with opportunities to grow in a busy retail

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures manuals.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
