Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores and suppliers. Part-time or full-time work is available, with fleet safety certification preferred.

Key duties include assisting customers in-store and over the phone, meeting personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and testing.

Qualifications

• English speaking and writing ability; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals clearly.
• Basic math for handling transactions and measurements.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
