Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Brockton, Massachusetts is hiring an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

It can be part time or full time, with safety certification preferred. You will provide excellent DIY customer service, hit sales goals, perform battery installations and other quick services, maintain inventory and storefront

Qualifications

• Two to three years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment (if stated)
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge
• Familiarity with inventory and store equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleaning and stocking duties
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
