Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires store systems knowledge, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time with safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY customer service, achieving sales goals, performing battery and wiper services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to perform DIY services.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
