Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson in Massachusetts. You will assist DIY customers in-store and by phone, perform basic automotive tasks, and support inventory and operating standards.

The role includes sourcing parts from stores, hubs and suppliers while maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, performing DIY services, and using store systems and POS for transactions and stock

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for POS and stock needs.
• Availability to work a variety of days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers by store and phone.
• Hit personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Offer DIY services like battery testing, installs and related tasks.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including put away, counts, back stock.
