Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, with strong store systems knowledge, basic automotive part knowledge, and ability to source from multiple channels.

The role can be part time or full time and requires basic math and customer service skills. You will handle in-store and phone interactions, provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper changes, and keep inventory and store standards up to date.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Basic automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
