Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires basic automotive and parts knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

Part-time or full-time availability is required. You will welcome DIY customers, drive personal sales, assist with services like battery installation and wiper changes, and maintain inventory and cleanliness.

Qualifications

2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Basic automotive knowledge and parts knowledge.
Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
Ability to use store systems and inventory processes.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Store cleanliness and general stocking.
