Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position entails delivering excellent customer service, meeting personal sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper changes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Hit personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
