Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers. The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities including customer service, DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
• Able to read safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts
• Knowledge of parts catalogs and automotive components
• Ability to operate in a retail environment with customer focus

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Meet personal sales goals and contribute to store targets
• Offer DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs, etc.)
• Maintain store inventory, stock levels and product standards
• Safely deliver parts to customers and manage inventory processes like cycle counts
