Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and perform basic automotive part services. The role requires familiarity with store systems and inventory processes, with a capacity to source from multiple channels.

Part-time or full-time options are available. Candidates should have 2–3 years of sales experience in retail, strong English communication, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store products and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
